Are you having problems with a business?

Important: We cannot help you if your problem is with a person who is not operating in a business manner.

While we have ample self-help material to guide you through your case, we can also give you a consultation or advice.

You should definitely seek legal advice if you:

  1. Receive protected income only;

  2. Do not speak English;

  3. The party suing claims they bought the debt (third party debt buyer); OR

  4. Need help knowing what to do.

A note about the Financial Snapshot section:

We ask for your current income and expenses for a few reasons. First it helps us determine your eligibility and the urgency of your situation. Second, it helps us get paperwork, like a fee waiver request, filled out ahead of time to help you. And , third, it helps us know if we can give you more information about your options, like if you are collections proof or not, or if bankruptcy is a good or bad option for you.

Clinical Model

Please know that we help people on a clinic, and limited scope basis. This means that we have designated times and days for providing help, and we are do not represent you.
